Rich McClain
Managing Principal, Licensed Broker
As Managing Principal, Rich is responsible for the delivery of consistent first class real estate solutions to our clients. Rich has over a decade of specific but diversified knowledge of real estate and property management experience, including commercial management, association management, market rate apartments and even student housing. Rich is a licensed Real Estate Broker, a Realtor, and has two management designations from the Community Association Managers International Certification Board. Above All Else, Rich greatly enjoys the field’s aspect of collaboration to reach goals. Rich lives in Colchester with his wife, two kids and three fish.
Yana Walder
Director of Marketing and Lease Administration, Licensed Realtor
Yana is a licensed real estate professional with experience in commercial real estate management, lease administration, and property acquisition. She is dedicated to tenant relationship facilitation according to industry best practices combined with local Vermont experience and your portfolio goals. Worked with clients including City Market/Onion River Coop, TD Bank, State Farm, Kelly Services, ReMax, UPS Store, State of Vermont Department of Financial Regulation and Vermont Secretary of State, Vermont Bankers Association, AT&T, Edward Jones, Skinny Pancake, Foam Brewers, and New England Culinary Institute, among others. Licensed in Vermont, USA. When she is not working or writing, she enjoys all that outdoor Vermont has to offer.
John R. Cole
Director of Property Management, Broker
John comes to the team with an extensive background in property management, both from his personal portfolio and from working for some of the largest families in the state. A native Vermonter and UVM graduate, John spent time working for Cushman and Wakefield’s Class-A multifamily team in Tampa, Florida before returning to Vermont. A licensed Realtor and Broker, John brings almost ten years of experience along with specialization in flips, new construction, and seller-financing. When he’s not working or enjoying time with his family, you can find John enjoying the great outdoors or satisfying his need for speed on the track or lake.
Jack Rutherford
Leasing Manager, Licensed Realtor
Jack Rutherford grew up in Burlington, VT and is a graduate of the University of Vermont. He has experience working for The National Association of Home Builders and Keller Williams Vermont. He also has worked in construction and home renovations. Jack is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson and a Realtor. Jack joined the Lake Point team in early 2021 as the marketing and lease coordinator. Some of his interests include basketball, sailing and ultimate frisbee.
Dave Davison
Real Estate Agent
Dave is an excellent agent experienced with representing buyers and sellers across Vermont since 2013. He was a licensed mortgage originator for two years. He enjoys the property hunt, identifying solid real estate values for his clients, and promptly attending to the transaction needs. With dozens of successful closings over the last few years, Dave would be happy to help clients find land, home, a lake house, or an investment property.
John Light
Real Estate Agent
John brings over 30 years of experience in management, sales, and financial operations to real estate development, specializing in apartment buildings throughout Chittenden County, Vermont. After successfully growing multiple commercial insurance agencies, John has spent the past six years developing, leasing and managing his current portfolio of apartment buildings and investment properties in Vermont and Colorado. A graduate of the University of Maine, John enjoys skiing slopes across the US, Canada, and Europe, road biking, and hiking national parks with his wife and daughters.
